This role offers a wonderful opportunity to foster a love of dance and creative arts in early childhood, while guiding children through movement, rhythm, and expressive performance.

MUST HAVE EXPERIENCE IN BALLET & TAP.

The ideal candidate will bring enthusiasm, creativity, and a nurturing approach to help young students develop their motor skills, coordination, and confidence through structured dance activities. Must have previous experience teaching young dancers Responsibilities Design and implement age-appropriate dance curricula that incorporate elements of ballet & tap, movement, and creative expression tailored for preschool-aged children Lead engaging Sunday morning dance classes that promote physical activity, rhythm recognition, and artistic exploration Manage classroom behavior with patience and positive reinforcement to create a safe, inclusive, and motivating learning space Develop choreography suitable for young children that emphasizes fun, coordination, and basic dance techniques (for recital beginning of June) Experience Prior experience working with children in dance educational or extracurricular settings is required Demonstrated background in teaching dance (ballet & tap) at the preschool or early childhood level preferred Knowledge of curriculum development tailored for young learners in creative arts instruction Experience managing classroom behavior and implementing effective behavior management strategies Familiarity with early childhood development principles and age-specific teaching methods Skills in choreography, dance instruction, and integrating performing arts into lessons are highly desirable Join us in creating joyful, inspiring dance experiences for our youngest students!
