PAY RATE
$2390.55 per season. Salary listed is 2025/2026 rate. 2026/2027 salary is TBD. Crater High School is seeking a Color Guard Advisor to lead and develop the Crater Color Guard program as part of the Crater Band & Guard. Primary Responsibilities Build and maintain a positive, inclusive culture with students, families, staff, and the community. Teach and develop student skills in dance, movement, flag, rifle, and sabre. Collaborate with the Band Director and instructional staff on visual design, choreography, and overall show development. Communicate effectively and professionally with students, families, and staff. Lead rehearsals and prepare students for performances, competitions, football games, and other program events. Promote student growth, teamwork, responsibility, and high performance standards. Preferred Qualifications Experience teaching or performing in color guard, winter guard, marching band, or a related activity. Strong knowledge of movement, equipment technique, choreography, and visual design. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Ability to work collaboratively as part of the Crater Band & Guard instructional team. The Central Point School District recognizes the diversity and worth of all individuals and groups.
