Heart Beatz Dance Academy is seeking an enthusiastic, reliable, and passionate Full-Time Dance Instructor & Studio Coordinator to join our growing team at our Johns Island location . This position is ideal for someone who loves working with children, enjoys teaching dance in a positive and encouraging environment, and is excited to contribute both in the classroom and behind the scenes to help our studio thrive. Position Overview Position:
Full-Time Dance Instructor & Studio Coordinator Location:
$36,000-40,000 - depending on experience Semi-monthly direct deposit 15 paid business days of PTO annually Performance-based salary increase opportunities Professional growth and development opportunities Positive and supportive team culture ResponsibilitiesDance Instruction Teach approximately 20-25 dance classes per week Deliver engaging, developmentally appropriate lessons aligned with studio curriculum and teaching philosophy Foster a positive, encouraging, and structured classroom environment Build strong relationships with students and families Support student growth, retention, and success Mom's Morning Out Program Assist in providing a nurturing and engaging experience for young children Support age-appropriate activities and classroom management Studio Coordination Complete approximately 15-20 administrative hours per week Assist with daily studio operations Support enrollment, customer service, and family communication Help maintain studio organization and administrative systems Additional coordinator responsibilities provided during onboarding Studio Events Participate in: Annual Recitals Rehearsals Showcases Open Houses Parent Observation Weeks Special Studio Events Qualifications Preferred candidates will possess: Dance teaching experience with children Strong classroom management skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Positive, professional, and dependable attitude Ability to multitask and stay organized Passion for helping children grow in confidence and skill Experience with preschool and elementary-aged students preferred Administrative or customer service experience is a plus What We're Looking For We are seeking someone who: Loves working with children and families Brings positive energy and professionalism to every interaction Is committed to excellence in dance education Thrives in a collaborative team environment Wants to make a lasting impact in the James Island community Commitment To provide consistency for our students, families, and team, we seek candidates interested in making a meaningful commitment to our program.
