Elite Dance Instructors & Choreographers in Hip Hop and Contemporary/Jazz Do you have the heart of a mentor, the passion of an artist, and the skill of a professionanl? At Groove Nation, we're seeking exceptional instructors to help build confident, resilient, and skilled dancers—both on and off the stage.

YOUR ROLE
As a Groove Nation faculty member, you'll do more than teach dance—you'll help shape lives.
Your job will include:
Teaching & Coaching Lead beginner through advanced classes with clarity, passion, and purpose Coach competitive teams to achieve strong technique, performance quality, and stage confidence Inspire disciplined practice through positive, uplifting mentorship Choreography & Leadership Create quality routines that challenge and elevate Help each dancer feel seen, valued, and pushed to their highest potential Work with fellow faculty to create a progressive, unified training experience Culture & Classroom Lead with professionalism, humility, and heart Maintain a safe, encouraging space for growth Support performances, events, and occasional substitute needs
WHAT WE VALUE
Experience:
4+ years teaching experience (your own classes) with documented results 8+ years of personal training in your core styles Competitive coaching & choreography experience highly desired. Strong hip-hop and contemporary skills and ability to teach them well
Qualities:
You're consistent, reliable, and deeply professional You teach with love, grit, and integrity You can challenge high-level dancers while nurturing first-timers You're in it for the students—not the spotlight
HOW TO APPLY STEP 1

Styles/levels taught Ages taught Competitive experience and results (if possible) Choreography/performance experience (with what level of dancers) STEP 2: Cover/ Bio Letter (Required) Please answer: Why do you want to join Groove Nation? What makes you a strong candidate for this role? How do you develop competitive dancers while keeping their love for dance? What's your experience teaching across all levels? STEP 3: Share Video Samples At least one video of your choreography (competition pieces encouraged) (Optional) A short intro video showing your personality and teaching style STEP 4: Submit 3 Professional References Please include previous employers, directors, or organizations that can vouch for your skill and character STEP 5: Paid Demo Class (By Invitation Only) We'll invite top applicants to teach a demo class for compensation.
