August 2026 Holly Area Schools is seeking a MTSS Coordinator & Coach responsible for coaching, supporting, facilitating, and implementing MTSS systems. The MTSS Coordinator & Coach plays a key role in coordinating and overseeing academic, behavioral, and social-emotional support systems within the district. The position ensures that students receive targeted interventions through a data-driven, tiered support framework, working closely with teachers, support staff, academic coaches, and administrators to support student success. The Board of Education will offer the successful candidate an annual salary commensurate with skills/experience. The successful candidate will also receive a complete and competitive benefit package. This is a grant funded position. The Community Holly Township is nestled in the northern and western most corner of Oakland County and is filled with natural beauty, wildlife, and serenity. Holly's position in Oakland County offers the experience of the outdoors at our many county or state parks without being too far from the convenience of more urban environments. The Township is committed to preserving and enhancing a safe community of caring and involved residents that are proud to call Holly Township home. The District Holly Area Schools serves approximately 3,100 students in Northwest Oakland County. The district has four elementary schools, one middle school, one high school, and a virtual school program. Holly Area Schools also offers a superior variety of early childhood education programs, STEM in all elementary schools and middle school, LEAD program, award-winning fine arts programs, expanded dual enrollment opportunities, cutting-edge technology in all classrooms, and skilled trades programs that prepare kids for jobs of the future. The district is composed of over 200 certified teachers, with the vast majority boasting a Master's Degree or above. The Holly Area Schools community approved a $97,000,000 bond in 2022 that is funding new and enhanced learning environments, districtwide building and site improvements, as well as safety upgrades. Some of the exciting improvements include: A new Holly Middle School spanning 155,000 square feet designed to create a 21st-century learning environment with flexible, innovative, and collaborative spaces that not only enhances academic achievement but also prioritizes the wellness of both students and staff. Enhanced learning environments, including fine arts Auditorium, new Stadium & Track, Tennis Courts, Instructional Technology, and a state of the art Construction Trades center at the high school. Replacement of playground structures, fire protection upgrades, and safety upgrades.

Education and Qualifications Qualified candidates for the position of
MTSS Coordinator & Coach:
Bachelor's Degree; Master's Degree preferred. Five or more years of successful classroom teaching experience. Administrative certification preferred. Knowledge of MTSS Framework and Experience with creating MTSS systems. Experience leading school improvement and/or instructional coaching in a K-12 educational setting. Leadership Experience with managing projects and/or initiatives; creating and conducting professional learning activities. Possess exceptional verbal and written communication as well as interpersonal skills. Solid understanding of best practices for instructional strategies. Evidence of a strong sense of honesty and integrity. Possess strong organizational skills including the ability to be detail oriented. Promote effective relationships with all stakeholders. Job Summary The successful candidate's responsibilities will include the following: Oversee the implementation of and monitoring of MTSS. Provide support in developing and using effective data-driven processes to identify student needs and track interventions. Collaborate with educators to implement academic, behavioral, and social-emotional interventions. Identify, implement, & monitor evidence-based practices and strategies to support student success. Facilitate collaborative teams to align curriculum, assessment, & instruction w/ MTSS Framework. Provide ongoing coaching/consultation to educators on data interpretation & intervention planning. Analyze district-wide data to identify trends, monitor student progress, and evaluate program effectiveness. Manage budgets and resources related to curriculum development and intervention programs. Seek and oversee grants or funding opportunities to enhance MTSS and curriculum initiatives. Provide reports on MTSS outcomes and school-wide trends to district leadership. Perform other duties as may be assigned by the Superintendent and/or Executive Director. The MTSS Coordinator and Coach reports to the Executive Director of Educational Services and the Superintendent.
