Job Description

Do you enjoy working with kids, have a passion for cooking, and love creating fun, memorable learning experiences? We are looking for an enthusiastic and dependable Lead Instructor to help guide our classes, support fellow instructors, and inspire young chefs in the kitchen. Young Chefs® Academy NoCo immerses participants in a world of culinary discovery, knowledge, and creativity while building skills that last a lifetime. As a Lead Instructor, you will help bring that mission to life by creating an engaging, organized, and encouraging learning environment. You will set the pace and flow of each class, reinforce key teaching moments, and lead students through hands-on culinary curriculum during classes, parties, and special events. What You'll Do
  • Lead one or two small groups of students, with up to 12 students total, through the curriculum.
  • Set the flow and pace of class to keep activities organized, engaging, and on schedule.
  • Help onboard and train new instructors through hands-on guidance and job shadowing
  • Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized kitchen and classroom environment. What We're Looking For We're looking for someone who brings positive energy to the kitchen, enjoys working with children, and is excited to help young chefs build confidence, independence, and practical life skills through cooking.
  • A relevant educational background or experience that supports success in a teaching or instructional environment.
  • A genuine passion for food, cooking, and culinary learning.
  • Enthusiasm for teaching children practical life skills and helping them grow in confidence.
  • Well-spoken, polite, and able to communicate clearly with students, families, and team members.
  • A collaborative team player who is willing to support and help train fellow instructors.
  • A work history that demonstrates consistency, commitment, and longevity.
  • High-energy and able to create a fun, encouraging, and engaging classroom environment.

Pay:
$22.00 - $25.00 per hour Expected hours: 15.0 - 30.0 per week
