Choir/Drama Coach Webberville Community Schools - 3.7 Webberville, MI Job Details Part-time 1 day ago Qualifications Team leadership Student engagement techniques Working with students Full Job Description Choir & Drama Coach Position Summary Webberville MS/HS is seeking an enthusiastic and creative Choir & Drama Coach to lead our school-sponsored before- and/or after-school performing arts program. We're looking for someone who believes the performing arts can change lives. Whether helping a student discover confidence through a solo, find belonging in an ensemble, or take the stage for the first time, this position offers the opportunity to make a lasting impact on students through music and theater. Responsibilities Lead choir and drama club rehearsals before and/or after school. Teach vocal performance, acting, stage presence, and teamwork. Direct concerts, plays, showcases, and other performances. Select appropriate music, scripts, and performance materials. Coordinate rehearsal and performance logistics as needed. Foster a positive, inclusive environment where all students are encouraged to participate. Communicate with families and school staff regarding schedules and events. Ensure appropriate student supervision and safety during all activities. Qualifications Experience leading choirs, theater productions, or youth performing arts programs. Strong music, vocal, or theater background. Ability to engage and motivate students of varying ages and experience levels. Strong organizational, leadership, and communication skills. Availability for before- and/or after-school rehearsals and occasional evening or weekend performances. Passion for the performing arts and working with children. Successful completion of required background checks. Preferred Qualifications Experience working with children or youth programs. Experience directing concerts, plays, or musicals.
