Position Overview:
As a Professional Swimming Instructor at AMI Swim School, you will play a crucial role in developing confident and capable swimmers. You will deliver engaging and effective swim lessons, while also contributing to the smooth operation of our school through administrative tasks. Responsibilities Include:
Instruction:
  • Provide high-quality swim instruction to students of all ages and skill levels, following our established curriculum.
  • Create a positive and encouraging learning environment.
  • Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
  • Maintain accurate records of student attendance and progress.
  • Ensure the safety of all students in the pool.
Administrative Tasks:
  • Communicate effectively with parents and guardians.
  • Maintain pool cleanliness and organization.
  • Participate in staff meetings and training sessions.
  • Perform administrative duties as assigned.
  • Lead training of new instructors.
Qualifications:
  • Lifeguard certification (preferred or willingness to obtain).
  • Previous experience teaching swim lessons (required).
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively with children and adults of all ages and abilities.
  • Reliable and punctual.
  • Passion for swimming and teaching.
Compensation and Benefits:
  • Competitive salary.
  • Comprehensive Paid Time Off (PTO) system, allowing for 4-6 weeks of PTO per year.

(Approximately 20-24 hours of in-water teaching and 6-10 hours of administrative work per week).
