Job Description

Overview We are seeking a dynamic and passionate Acro Instructor to inspire and guide students through the exciting world of acrobatics, dance, and creative movement. In this role, you will design engaging curriculum, lead energetic classes, and foster a safe, supportive environment for learners of all ages and skill levels. Your expertise in movement arts, choreography, and teaching will help students develop strength, flexibility, confidence, and a love for performing arts. Responsibilities Develop and implement innovative curriculum tailored to various age groups and skill levels in acrobatics, dance, and movement arts Lead energetic classes that emphasize proper technique, safety protocols, and creative expression Manage classroom dynamics effectively, ensuring a positive environment that encourages participation and growth Adapt instruction to meet the diverse needs of students, including those with special education requirements or early childhood development needs Incorporate choreography, dance instruction, theater techniques, and musical elements into lessons to enhance artistic expression Foster a supportive atmosphere that promotes teamwork, confidence-building, and personal achievement Maintain safety standards by supervising activities closely and managing behavior effectively during classes Qualifications Proven experience in acrobatics instruction or related movement arts such as ballet, dancing, or theater performance Strong background in curriculum development, lesson planning, and classroom management Experience working with children or youth programs with an understanding of childhood development and behavior management strategies Knowledge of teaching visual & performing arts including choreography and dance instruction Ability to adapt teaching methods for early childhood education Excellent communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively with students of all ages Certification in Gymnastics or Acrobatics is preferred but not required Join us to ignite creativity through movement! $24.29 - $29.25 per hour
