This position is part-time, working primarily weekends - Saturday and Sundays, 7am to 5:00pm - but we do have the availability to incorporate some weekdays into the schedule as your availability allows. Best Driving Academy is the newest addition to BLG, based in Kernersville, NC, that was created with a focus on providing a quality education to each student ready to jump behind the wheel of their career as a CDL Driver. At Best Driving Academy, our goal is to prepare our students for real world opportunities by providing them with training in a state-of-the-art environment that utilizes technology and trainers with proven industry experience. The ideal candidate is an experienced driver instructor that can work well in a team environment and provide constructive feedback and real world knowledge as they prepare students to obtain their CDL. Job Duties Provide instruction to students in both a classroom and range environment. Maintain a safe environment from both students and instructors. Provide instruction in a classroom environment. Provide instruction behind the wheel and range instruction for a Class A Tractor Trailer Observe, document, and provide feedback to students as necessary to improve skills and knowledge. Maintain accurate records of student attendance and performance. Set up the classroom and range daily as needed. Qualifications Posses a Class A CDL License At least 5 years experience driving a Class A CDL Vehicle. At least 2 years experience driving within the last 5 years. Be able to become a licensed instructor by the State of North Carolina. We look forward to hearing from you!
