You'll be: Managing and delivering all aspects of the Entry-Level Driver Training (ELDT) program, including classroom, range, and behind-the-wheel instruction Completing and maintaining J. J. Keller Safe & Smart® ELDT Trainer Certification Administering coaching sessions, skills evaluations, and proficiency assessments to CDL candidates Developing site-specific training materials, standard operating procedures, and qualification processes Tracking training metrics, preparing drivers for final qualification, and ensuring all documentation meets FMCSA standards Maintaining audit-ready records and supporting Training Provider Registry (TPR) compliance Safely operating and maneuvering Class A vehicles, ISO tankers, trailers, and related equipment on-site Supporting transportation, logistical, and operational activities — including equipment movement and coordination with site teams This job might be an outstanding fit if you: Hold a valid CDL Class A license with an excellent driving record Bring at least 2 years of experience as a Class A commercial driver and have strong knowledge of FMCSA regulations Are able to communicate clearly and confidently, both in classroom settings and practical training environments Excel in maintaining detailed documentation, records, and training compliance files Possess skills working with Microsoft Office and training systems Have experience maneuvering trailers, ISO tankers, and chassis equipment (Preferred) Have prior driver trainer, fleet instructor, or ELDT program instructor experience, or a background in transportation training or safety (Preferred) Possess knowledge of Training Provider Registry requirements, experience developing training SOPs, or a HazMat endorsement What happens next Once you apply, you'll proceed to next steps if your skills and experience look like a good fit.
