Pay Range:

$21.00 to $28 per hour based on instructor certification level and advancement. If you've spent years building your experience, put it to work shaping the next generation of drivers.

Requirements:

SKILLS:

Proficient in driving over-the-road, diesel-powered 8 commercial vehicles to include straight-line backing, offset parking, alley-docking, and parallel parking. Excellent oral and written communication skills. Ability to read and comprehend varied and extensive written documents, regulations and reference materials. Ability to prioritize workload. Ability to utilize computer/tablets in daily operations. Ability to teach CDL students to pass vehicle inspection, BSL testing, and over-the-road driving skills. Ability to work effectively in a team environment. Knowledge and skill to conduct after action reviews of training. Identify and report vehicle maintenance deficiencies. Conduct minor maintenance repairs.

High school diploma or G.E.D. required

CDL A EXPERIENCE

Minimum 2 years verifiable driving experience, or as required by state licensing agencies. Military experience may be considered as experience.
