DISTRICT SUPERINTENDENT I / BAY AREA DISTRICT / BAY AREA DISTRICT OFFICE / PETALUMA CA
This position works under the general direction of the District Superintendent II, performing duties relative to the planning, implementation and direction for all aspects of the district operation. The Deputy District Superintendent directly supervises the districts program managers which includes Administration, Facilities Development, Natural Resources, Cultural Resources, Interpretation and Education, Public Safety, Service Driven and the San Francisco Bay Sector. This position provides supervision, leadership, training and employee development opportunities. This position is responsible for communicating directly with the district staff, headquarters, service center, cooperative associations, volunteer groups and public sector groups while providing efficient and effective public service and leadership throughout the district. We are seeking a highly motivated individual with extensive experience and strong communication and team skills to join Bay Area District. Training and development assignments may be considered. This position is designated as not telework eligible. This position requires a valid class C driver's license and a clean driving history. Per California Code of Regulations (CCR) 599.961, this is a sensitive position, and therefore subject to drug and alcohol testing.
