This role combines two key areas of support: assisting teachers in the classroom and providing after school care for school-age students. The ideal candidate enjoys working with children, is flexible, and thrives in a collaborative school environment. Hours will be 12:00-5:30 on school days. Classroom Assistance Support teachers with daily classroom activities. Work with small groups or individual students as directed. Help maintain a safe, organized, and welcoming learning environment. After School Care Provide engaging, age-appropriate activities for school-age children. Supervise homework, games, and recreational activities. Ensure a safe and positive space for students until parent pickup. Qualifications High school diploma (some college or experience in education/childcare preferred). Prior experience working with children in schools, camps, or childcare settings. Strong communication and interpersonal skills. Dependability, flexibility, and a positive attitude. Commitment to fostering a safe, nurturing, and faith-filled school environment.
