The Nashua Adult Learning Center provides exciting, enriching before and after school programs for over 500 children at 14 sites in Southern NH. We are committed to intentionally planning curriculum that supports the social and emotional development of children, while offering activities that expand their experiences. Bring your skills, passion and hobbies to create an amazing experience for elementary school children. We are seeking an energetic, motivated, and committed Site Director to lead our offsite before and/or afterschool program in the 2026-2027 school year, as well as our 2027 summer camp program. This position is located at an elementary school in Merrimack, NH. Before school hours are 6:30am-8:30am. After school hours are 2:45pm to 6:00pm. This is a leadership role that combines hands-on involvement with administrative oversight. Key Responsibilities
Supervise and support staff ensuring high-quality programming and adherence to safety protocols.
Coordinate and implement daily activities that support academic, social and physical development
Serve as the main point of contact for parents, school personnel, and organization leadership
Maintain accurate records, including attendance, incident reports, and staff schedules
Ensure compliance with all licensing, health, and safety regulations
Manage site budget and inventory of supplies and snacks
Participate in required trainings
Foster a positive and inclusive environment for all students and staff Job Qualifications
At least 21 years of age
Para II-educator certification or college credits in education, recreation, childcare or related field
Experience working with children
Pay:
$20.00 - $25.00 per hour
