This role will provide strategic leadership and support to a large project with a focus on transforming the student experience, including staff/organizational redesign, supporting the development of new positions/structures, aligning business processes to support the reimagined student services work, and adapting Ellucian Colleague and related applications to support.

Position Summary

• Define the future-state student services model — structure, roles, decision making authority, and w the generalist hands off to a specialist.
• Push the client to decide/commit to new structures and processes, rather than producing recommendations and waiting.
• Collaborate with Colleague consultant SMEs across relevant functional areas to redesign business processes, down to who does what in which system.
• Turn that design into workplans our PM and Colleague consultants can execute.
• Partner with our PM to develop and deliver the overall narrative in client governance and executive meetings.

Skills

• Lead Registrar, Financial Aid, Student Accounts, Advising, or related functions in higher ed, and knows the others well enough to redesign efforts across them.
• Has led a unit- or division-level build, consolidation, or one-stop redesign.
• Collaborates with consultants on process designs and validates they align with overall client vision and organizational structure.
• Some Colleague functional knowledge would be beneficial.
• Credible with a COO or CFO, and capable of holding them to decisions and timelines.
