Job Description

The USD 454 is seeking a dynamic, student-centered Elementary Teacher committed to engaging, rigorous instruction and high levels of student achievement.

The ideal candidate demonstrates strong instructional skills, promotes higher-level thinking, and creates an inclusive classroom environment where all students feel valued and challenged. This educator builds positive relationships with students, families, and colleagues and actively collaborates within Professional Learning Communities to analyze data and improve instruction.

Qualifications:

• Valid elementary teaching certification
• Proven ability to deliver engaging, standards-based instruction
• Experience collaborating in Professional Learning Communities
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills

Salary Information

Teaching salary ranges from $46,075 to $63,025 plus benefits for 2026-2027. Salary is based upon additional learning and experience. Supplemental coaching positions and/or sponsorships may be available.
