  • Maintain appropriate classroom environment with relation to discipline and student safety.
  • Communicate with parents and/or guardians.
  • Work collaboratively with administration and support staff to ensure student success.
  • Prepare required reports, including progress reports, report cards, and student success plans.
  • Maintain accurate records, including student grades and classroom attendance.
  • Participate in team meetings as necessary.
  • Maintain high academic standards.
  • Pursue professional development as necessary and appropriate to meet "highly qualified" standards.
  • Participate in committees and activities as appropriate and in conjunction with contractual agreements.
  • Work collaboratively with staff to plan curriculum and instruction.
Compensation will be in accordance with the salary scale outlined in the Acushnet Teachers Association collective bargaining agreement.
