Endicott Preschool is seeking a Full-time Lead Teacher for our Pre-Kindergarten/UPK half-day program starting Fall 2026.

This individual must possess either:

an Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or related field; or a Child Development Associate Credential or other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period; and one year of experience related to caring for children; or nine college credits in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field, with a plan of study leading to a Child Development Associate Credential, other OCFS-recognized credential specific to the preschool developmental period, or an Associate's degree in Early Childhood, Child Development or a related field; and two years of experience related to caring for children. Candidate must be fluent in English, able to lift 40 pounds, easily transition to and from floor for playtime, able to move quickly and respond immediately to active children.

this position requires a cover letter included with your resume. This is a September through June yearly position, hours are 8:30-3:30, Monday through Friday. Additionally one and a half hours per week for team planning. The AM class is 9:00-11:30, and the PM class is 12:30-3:00. Teacher orientation begins the week of August 31. This is an OCFS licensed position which requires fingerprinting, a state background check, and annual paid training. This position does not provide health or retirement benefits.
