Job Responsibilities:
Create a nurturing and positive learning environment for children 2-3 years old. Ensure proper supervision while managing daily classroom functions according to the child's needs and school schedule. Maintain a warm, safe, organized, clean, attractive, and appealing environment for children to grow and explore. Diapering and toilet-training according to the needs of the child. Ensuring proper use and maintenance of classroom materials. Knowledge and practice of Montessori Philosophy. Ensure a welcoming environment for children, parents and prospective parents at all times. Follow the daily schedule and Montessori curriculum. Engage in meaningful and positive communication with all children. Respect and love for children. Positive and excellent parent communication with parents through parent communication App and in-person. Professional behavior and positive communication with co-workers. Maintain professional relationships with parents and staff at all times. Adhere to the school and state procedures/regulations at all times. Encourage learning and development according to the individual child. Maintaining annual training according to the state guidelines. Attending all school training, staff meetings, and events as needed. Respecting and following all school policies to maintain a positive, organized, and safe environment. Knowledge and practice of Montessori Philosophy. Basic knowledge of child development and stages. Maintain record keeping of each child's progress. Reliable and punctual. Lead by example. Team Player Assist lead teacher in all classroom responsibilities as needed for a safe and positive environment.
Job Qualifications:
High School Diploma or Equivalent Valid Identification At least 1 year of experience in a licenced childcare facility Ability to lift up to 35 lbs. Background check and fingerprints upon hire TB test upon hire
