ENG 025, ENG 110, ENG 111, ENG 112, ENG 114, ENG 232, ENG
241, and ENG 242. Duties Teach English courses in many formats (day, evening, online, hybrid, 16, 15, 14, and 8-week,) with contact hours per week ranging as assigned. Some off-campus teaching may be required (Madison Campus or high schools.). Develop teaching materials, activities, handouts, and a gradebook/ attendance record to be posted on the LMS site. Assesses students' skills and documents grades in LMS gradebook. Communicates weekly with students about progress and due dates. Submit Census and Final Grades by mandated deadlines. Complete required yearly training in Title IX and Technology Security. Abide by policies, standards, goals, and objectives of the college and department. Minimum Requirements 1. Master's degree in English or Master's degree in a related field with at least 18 graduate semester hours in English, all courses must have an ENG pre-fix and not include the word teaching in the course title. Preferred Qualifications 1. At least one year of tutoring, mentoring, or teaching experience in a classroom environment. . 2. Experience with hybrid or online teaching in an LMS. Special Instructions to Applicants 1. This is a continuous recruitment to create an applicant pool, openings may or may not exist at this time.
