Full Job Description Description:

Denver Street School is an accredited, private Christian alternative high school that has been successfully working with at-risk youth in the Denver Metro area for more than 30 years. We are seeking a qualified secondary teacher for English Language Arts who is also interested in being a student advocate both during and occasionally beyond the school day. Qualified candidates must hold at least a bachelor's degree in the subject matter or a related field; license and certification are preferred but not required. Base pay is $45,000 with a certification plus additional salary per year of prior experience with an additional bonus for a current teaching certification. Teachers are also provided with resources to raise additional personal support, 100% of which goes to the teacher.
