ELA 8th Grade Long Term Sub Rockland Public Schools - 4.5 Rockland, MA Job Details Full-time 12 hours ago Qualifications Parent-teacher conferences (communication methods) Full Job Description 8th Grade ELA Long Term Sub Needed for August 27 through OctoberPlan and deliver standards-based lessons aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Framework for English Language ArtsFoster a supportive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes academic growth, critical thinking, and social-emotional development.

Collaborate with grade-level teachers to support students transition into middle school.

Utilize a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse learning needs of students.

Assess student progress using formative and summative measures and adjust instruction accordingly.

Create a positive classroom culture that supports PBIS and restorative practices.

Differentiate instruction to support all learners, including students with IEPs and English learners.

Collaborate with special education staff, English learner teachers, counselors, and interventionists.

Communicate effectively and regularly with families regarding student progress and classroom activities.
