Job Description

ELEMENTARY ELA INTERVENTIONIST

(Grades 1 & 2) POSTING (Internal/External) July 23, 2026 POSITION(S): ELA Interventionist for Grades 1 and 2 1 FTE

QUALIFICATIONS:

Valid Michigan Teacher Certification

Experience working with students in Tier 3, ability to work closely with Instructional Coaches, Academic Specialists, Teachers, and Principal to carry out a system for aligning targeted instruction for small groups and individual students, and understand/administer diagnostic assessments. Experience/skills with data collection, recording, and entry (running records, DRA progress monitoring, IDI, etc.)
