QUALIFICATIONS
Valid Michigan Secondary or Elementary Teaching Certificate required with endorsement in BA or BX. Experience in elementary and/or middle school classroom instruction. Ability to manage time and be self-directed. High level of confidentiality and professionalism. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience with at risk students. Patience to work with diverse populations and language barriers. Ability to manage time and work individually. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience working with diverse populations and language barriers. Enthusiastic, Energetic, Positive and Professional. Experience with online learning Edgenuity preferred.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Responsible for planning, assessment, and instruction. Implement curriculum according to the Michigan Common Core State Standards and district adopted curriculum. Use relevant technology to support and differentiate instruction. Interpret and use data from ongoing assessments to inform instruction. Participate in professional development and implement best practice. Encourage and monitor the progress of individual students and use information to adjust teaching strategies. Provide a variety of learning materials and resources for use in educational activities. Collaborate with teachers and administrators to improve student achievement in the content areas.
Pay:
$46,760.00 - $94,451.00 per year
