Header Overview Join our dynamic team as an English as a Second Language (ESL) Instructor and empower adult learners from diverse cultural backgrounds to achieve their language goals! Responsibilities Develop and implement comprehensive ESL curricula that align with adult education standards and accommodate various learning styles. Design engaging instructional materials and activities that promote active learning and practical language use. Deliver interactive lessons through online instruction platforms and traditional classroom settings, ensuring accessibility for all students. Adapt teaching methods and instructional content to meet the diverse needs of adult learners, including those with special requirements such as deaf education or bilingual backgrounds. Coach fellow teachers on best practices in classroom management, instructional design, and the integration of learning technology and LMS (Learning Management Systems). Assess student progress regularly through formative and summative evaluations, providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement. Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages participation, respects cultural differences, and promotes literacy education for all students. Qualifications BPSS Licensed Proven experience teaching ESL to adults in classroom or online environments with strong classroom management skills. Expertise in curriculum development, instructional materials creation, and lesson planning tailored for adult learners. Excellent communication skills with the ability to adapt teaching strategies to various learning styles and cultural backgrounds. Knowledge of bilingual education, literacy instruction, and adult language education methodologies. Strong writing skills for creating instructional content and tutoring materials. Ability to work effectively with students from diverse cultural backgrounds while demonstrating patience and instructional adaptability.
Pay:
$29.50 - $35.53 per hour
