Requirements:

Must have NYS Certification as a 7-12 English Language Arts Teacher We strongly welcome candidates with the following qualifications: Team based planning and collaborating Previous teaching experience in secondary setting preferred Exemplify the WCSD Essential Skills and Core Beliefs Candidates must have knowledge and understanding of child growth and development, effective instructional strategies, classroom management, learning assessment and diagnosis, and research related to learning

Responsibilities:

Provides comprehensive instruction in the District approved curriculum Integrates literacy skills and strategies within the academic program, ensuring that all students are able to access text and communicate understanding through writing Demonstrates a deep and rich knowledge of subject area and the ability to convey it to the students Maintains accurate and timely student records available for teacher, student or parent reference

Salary:

As per current Webster Teachers Contract as well as education and experience
