Overview Position Overview Illinois Mathematics and Science Academy (IMSA) is hiring three teachers for its inquiry-based, hands-on Saturday STEM programs. This position delivers hands-on instruction to program participants in the St. Clair County, IL area. All program materials are provided. Each teacher is supported by one or more volunteer assistants. Each program area will serve up to 24 elementary/middle school students on: October 24, November 7, and December 5, 2026.

Hours/Schedule:

This position requires: 2 hours of training (virtually) TBD 8 hours of curriculum review and preparation 5 hours of teaching, classroom set up and take down during each Saturday STEM session date listed above Teachers will be paid an hourly rate of $35/hour. This position is not benefits eligible.

Communicate with other staff members about programmatic needs. Supervise and collaborate with teacher assistants, when applicable. Organize provided supplies for program.
