Job Description

The Student Assistant for Ivy Tech Community College of Columbus/Columbus Propeller will assist in planning and executing events, workshops, and classes at Columbus Propeller. The Student Assistant will provide customer service to our visitors and members. They will aid the Training Coordinator and Lab Technician with day-to-day duties, and will represent Ivy Tech Community College as a world-class education and adaptive learning institution.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1.
Assistance with Propeller events:
planning, set up, event maintenance, tear down, etc. 2. Assist staff with day-to-day operations a. Organization and inventory assistance b. Helping keep the makerspace neat and tidy 3. Assist Propeller members with their projects 4. Other duties as assigned by supervisor and lab technician General qualifications: 1. Interest in, or experience with, working with both children and adults 2.
General Job Skills:
reliability, punctuality, professionalism, problem solving, etc. 3.
Good Communication Skills Required qualifications:
1. Completed FAFSA on file demonstrating financial need. 2. Maintain an aid-eligible Satisfactory Academic Progress (SAP) status
Pay Rate:
