Student Teaching Intern
Position Overview
We welcome students completing a student teaching or education program internship to gain supervised, hands-on experience in an educational setting. The student teacher will work alongside an experienced educator and participate in classroom activities as permitted by the requirements of their academic program.
This is an unpaid internship intended to provide practical experience and fulfill applicable student teaching or program requirements.
Responsibilities
Observe classroom instruction and educational practices.
Assist the supervising teacher with classroom activities and student learning.
Prepare and deliver lessons as assigned and approved by the supervising teacher.
Support classroom management and student engagement.
Participate in planning, meetings, and other activities appropriate to the student teaching program.
Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and appropriate boundaries with students and staff.
Complete all required assignments, documentation, and evaluations for the student's academic program.
Requirements
Currently enrolled in an accredited education, teaching, or related preparation program.
Must be eligible for student teaching/internship placement through the student's academic program.
Professional, dependable, and committed to working with students.
Able to meet the requirements of the school, placement site, and academic program.

Compensation
