Great Expectations Child Care & Early Learning Center is looking for a dependable, energetic, and caring Part-Time Assistant Teacher to join our team! This position is a great fit for a college student studying education, early childhood education, psychology, social work, or a related field—or anyone who enjoys working with children and wants a consistent part-time schedule.

Responsibilities include:

Assisting the lead teacher with classroom activities and daily routines Engaging with children through play, learning activities, and conversation Helping with meals, bathroom routines, rest time, and classroom transitions Maintaining a clean, organized, and welcoming classroom Supervising children and helping maintain a safe environment Providing dependable support wherever needed within the center We're looking for someone who is: Patient, positive, and genuinely enjoys working with children Dependable and able to arrive on time for scheduled shifts Comfortable working as part of a team Willing to learn and accept guidance At least 18 years old with a high school diploma or GED Able to obtain all required childcare clearances and documentation Previous childcare experience is helpful but not required.
