Internal Medicine Job Summary:
HCA Florida JFK Hospital and the HCA Florida Healthcare GME Division are seeking an experienced Core Faculty physician for the Internal Medicine residency program.Qualified Candidates:
- Are MD or DO, board certified in internal medicine, and licensed or license eligible in the State of Florida
- Must have strong interest and relevant experience in Graduate Medical Education and academic pursuit, and be willing to do inpatient and outpatient primary care/ general internal medicine work
- Participate as an active faculty member in the program as required by the program director and institutional policies, including
- Are committed to maintain the content and quality of the curriculum for the residents and other learners
- Participate in grand rounds and program conferences and didactics
- Supervise residents on inpatient service and in the facility's outpatient clinic
- Complete required resident evaluations during their clinical experiences
- Participate in the resident interview and selection process at the request of the program director
- Participate in program didactics, conferences, grand rounds and other educational activities
- Engage in scholarly activity with residents and other learners
- The program is comprised of a diverse, energetic group of physicians who have a wonderful working relationship and are looking forward to adding a new team member
- Must have excellent communication skills and work as a member of a team
