Biomedicine Instructor (Part-Time) Daoist Traditions College of Chinese Medical Arts is seeking a qualified instructor to teach courses in our accredited Acupuncture and Chinese Medicine master's degree program. The position involves teaching cohorts of 14-18 students in the second and third years of a rigorous, four-year professional training program during the Spring 2027 semester.

Introduction to
Pharmacology :
Introducing the effects of commonly used pharmaceuticals, how they are absorbed, distributed, metabolized, and eliminated; and cautions, contraindications, and potential interactions.
Psychology & Psychiatry :
Part of a pathology and pharmacology course series. Covering general psychology concepts, pathophysiology of mental health disorders, appropriate referrals, treatment modalities, and pharmacotherapy. Other courses in the Pathology & Pharmacology course series may be available in future semesters. Position Details

Each course has 30 instructional hours
Format:
Face-to-face instruction. For qualified candidates with prior online teaching experience, a hybrid format may be considered.

- Master's or doctoral degree in pharmacology, pharmacy, nursing, medicine, psychology, or a related health or biomedical field
- Teaching experience at the college, university, or professional level
- Ability to translate clinical experience into clear, structured teaching aligned with course and institutional competencies
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Computer skills - creating PowerPoint presentations and other course materials; working with Google Workspace (Docs, Drive, etc.
