Faculty Job Description The Faculty for the Department of Physician Assistant Studies primary role is to deliver curriculum content for the PA program. In addition, this position will participate in the programs operations as required by the accrediting body (ARC-PA). This is a full-time position with a salary and competitive benefits commensurate with experience and qualifications. Required Qualifications

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

Current expertise in one or more basic science curriculum content areas of the MPAS degree Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a member of a team Demonstrated ability to adapt to change Proficient in Microsoft Office (e.g. Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and academic systems (e.g. learning management systems such as Canvas, BlackBoard)

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Possession of a doctoral degree in a medical science such as anatomy, physiology, microbiology, or equivelent Excellent oral, written, organizational, and computer skills. Preferred Qualifications Teaching experience in classroom and clinical settings, preferably in an institution of higher learning Evidence of potential for excellence in teaching and scholarly activity.
