General Information:
The Department of Health Sciences is seeking a self-motivated, detail-oriented student assistant for the 2026-2027 academic year. This a FWS position. The student must be FWS eligible. The student must be able to work 10 hours per week, Monday through Friday.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Provide assistance to faculty/staff as needed
Record management, computerized and manual
Filing, data entry using Microsoft Word, Excel, and other software
Operation of copier and scanner
Complete projects and any other duties assigned by faculty and staff in a timely manner
Occasional assistance at main office reception desk if needed
Respect the confidentiality of documents being handled and the department
Be responsible, professional, and dependable at all times
Qualifications:
Must be Federal Work Study Eligible
Willing to work 10 hours per week, Monday-Friday
Ability to work independently
Good communication skills, in-person and via various technology
Professional attitude
Shows initiative
Excellent organization skills
Proficient with Word and Excel
Health Sciences Majors preferred

Conditions of Employment:
Students must be degree-seeking students, enrolled on at least a half-time basis (6 credits for undergraduate and 5 credits for graduate).
