Teaching Staff Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer in Physiology/Anatomy in the School of Biomedical Sciences (Ref.: 537186), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal. Applicants should have a Ph. D. and M.B.B.S or M.D. degree and be highly motivated in teaching and learning, with at least 3 years of demonstrated experience and excellence in the teaching of the physiology/anatomy discipline for medical, nursing, pharmacy, and biomedical sciences undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. Applicants should also have strong communication and organizational skills, the ability to work independently and as a team, and be able to multitask. Experience in teaching physiology, anatomy, biochemistry, or digital education in medicine is a plus. The appointee will be responsible for teaching, conducting tutorials and demonstrations, supporting curriculum design, and developing teaching materials, etc. He/She will work closely with a team of colleagues dedicated to the development and delivery of innovative pedagogical approaches to improve student learning across several undergraduate and postgraduate degree programmes. A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits. At current rates, salary tax does not exceed 15% of gross income. The appointment will attract a contract-end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary.
