Job Description

Job Overview The Stock Show University® Coordinator serves as the leader and driving force behind Sullivan Supply's nationally recognized educational platform. This individual is responsible for developing, managing, and expanding Stock Show University® through live educational events, digital learning, content creation, sponsorship development, strategic partnerships, and youth engagement initiatives. This position combines the responsibilities of an event manager, educator, marketer, project manager, and brand ambassador. The Coordinator works closely with internal departments, industry leaders, educators, sponsors, and exhibitors to ensure Stock Show University continues to be the premier source of livestock education in North America. Success in this role requires exceptional organization, creativity, communication skills, and a genuine passion for educating the next generation of livestock exhibitors. Primary Responsibilities Program Leadership & Strategic Growth Lead the long-term vision and strategic direction of Stock Show University®. Develop annual growth initiatives, educational objectives, and measurable performance goals. Identify opportunities to expand educational offerings into new markets, species, and digital platforms. Evaluate program effectiveness using participation, engagement, sponsorship, and customer feedback metrics. Protect and strengthen the Stock Show University® brand throughout the livestock industry. Educational Events & Clinics Plan, coordinate, and execute Stock Show University® clinics, graduate programs, demonstrations, seminars, and educational experiences nationwide. Develop and manage the annual educational calendar. Coordinate venues, facilities, travel, lodging, educational materials, equipment, and event logistics. Recruit and manage clinicians, instructors, guest speakers, and educational staff. Ensure every event delivers a first-class educational experience that reflects Sullivan Supply's commitment to excellence. Digital Education Oversee the continued growth of Stock Show University® beyond live events by managing: Online educational videos (TikTok, YouTube etc.) Future online learning courses Digital resource libraries Downloadable educational materials Educational newsletters Work with the marketing team to continually expand Sullivan Supply's educational presence across digital platforms. Educational Content Development Develop educational content for all Sullivan Supply communication channels including: Sullivan Supply website Social media Email marketing Product education Species-specific educational guides Printed educational materials Coordinate with species experts to ensure educational information remains accurate and relevant. Sponsorship & Industry Partnerships Develop and manage relationships with: Breed Associations Junior Associations State Fair organizations National livestock shows Universities Agricultural organizations Industry manufacturers Corporate sponsors Coordinate sponsorship agreements and ensure all promotional obligations are fulfilled. Seek new sponsorship opportunities that help grow educational programming while enhancing the participant experience. Staff Leadership Recruit, train, schedule, and supervise: Clinicians Educational presenters Correspondents Event staff Seasonal interns Volunteers Create a positive team culture centered around education, professionalism, and customer service. Customer Experience Serve as one of Sullivan Supply's primary educational ambassadors by: Building lasting relationships with exhibitors and families. Responding to customer inquiries. Providing educational guidance. Promoting youth leadership. Encouraging continued participation in Stock Show University®. Travel Travel throughout North America to: Conduct clinics Support educational events Attend livestock shows Represent Sullivan Supply Develop industry partnerships Meet with sponsors Travel includes evenings, weekends, and overnight stays. Qualifications Required Bachelor's Degree in Agricultural Education, Animal Science, Agricultural Communications, Marketing, Business, or related field. Passion for livestock education and youth development. Excellent communication and public speaking skills. Outstanding organizational and project management abilities. Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment. Strong computer and Microsoft Office skills. Valid driver's license. Preferred Experience showing cattle, sheep, goats, or swine. Event planning experience. Marketing and social media experience. Budget management experience. Leadership and supervisory experience. Photography or videography knowledge. Graphic design experience. Knowledge of Adobe Creative Suite, Canva, or similar creative platforms.
Pay:
$50,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
