Minute Men Staffing - 3.6 Covington, KY Job Details Full-time $18 an hour 2 hours ago Qualifications Visitor query response Customer communication Client inquiry handling Answering guest questions Escalation handling Full Job Description Check In Registration Assistant - Covington, KY Convention Center Friday 09/11/26: 7:00pm-9:00pm Saturday 09/12/26: 10:00am-6:00pm Sunday 09/13/26: 10:00am-5:00pm Provides friendly and efficient check-in service for attendees, guests, and exhibitors at the Registration Kiosk Responsibilities Scanning ticket codes Verifying identification Distributing wristbands, badges, exclusive-product redemption tickets, and other purchased items, and accurately recording fulfilled items in the registration system Process credit and debit card transactions using a point-of-sale terminal Actively promote additional merchandise and opportunities for impulse purchases when appropriate Must have strong customer service and communication skills, including the ability to calmly and politely address attendee questions or complaints and promptly refer situations to convention management if they escalate or cannot be resolved at the Registration Kiosk Point-of-sale experience, strong math skills, and a welcoming, sales-oriented attitude are preferred. The position requires the ability to remain on your feet and move around frequently for extended periods throughout the day.
