Our client is hiring an Intake Specialist! We know that the way we answer the phone can be just as important as the way we handle a case. We're looking for a warm, quick-thinking Intake Specialist to be the first voice a prospective client hears — often on one of the hardest days of their life — and to guide them, with compassion and confidence, toward getting the help they need. This isn't a typical receptionist role. You'll be the front door to our firm's growth: qualifying leads, booking consultations, and making sure no one who needs us falls through the cracks. What You'll Do Answer inbound calls, web inquiries, and referrals with speed and warmth — most leads hear back from you within minutes, not hours Ask the right questions to understand each caller's situation, screen for conflicts, and determine next steps Schedule consultations with the right attorney and confirm appointments Keep detailed, accurate records in our CRM for every single lead Follow up persistently (but never pushy) with prospective clients who haven't yet booked Partner with our attorneys and paralegals to hand off every qualified lead with full context What We're Looking For 1-3+ years in a client-facing, high-volume phone or sales-adjacent role (legal intake, medical front desk, call center, hospitality, or inside sales) A calm, steady presence — you don't rattle when a caller is upset, scared, or angry Genuine empathy paired with a real sense of urgency Comfort with CRM/practice management software (Clio, Lawmatics, PracticePanther, or similar) — or a fast learner who picks up new tools easily Excellent listening skills and sound judgment around confidentiality Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus What We Offer Competitive base salary plus performance bonus A supportive team culture where your work directly and visibly grows the firm Sound like you?
