Program Director, University Transfer (9 + 3 months FT Faculty)) Location 5160 Fayetteville Road, Lumberton, NC Job Type Full-Time Faculty Job Number 00255 Department Instruction and Support Services Division Business, University Transfer, and CCR Opening Date 08/14/2026 Closing Date Continuous Description Benefits Description Program Directors are professional educators who provide administrative leadership for multiple programs in their assigned departments. The Program Director teaches appropriate courses within the department and oversees and coordinates essential processes such as curriculum planning, scheduling, employee performance review, and institutional assessment. Detailed Work Activities Curriculum and Instruction Provide effective instruction of at least one course per semester (fall, spring, and summer) via intentional planning, presenting, and assessment Recommend, in consultation with faculty, changes to programs of study in the department via the College's curriculum approval processes Develop, with faculty, program-level competencies that outline expected student learning outcomes, program outcomes and administrative outcomes by oversight of each program's Outcome Assessment Plan (OAP). Communicate needed updates for instructional materials and syllabi provided in classes offered within the department Review all courses in the LMS for compliance with the LMS rubric and Department of Education (DOE) guidelines. Develop class schedules cooperatively with other departments of the college for approval by the Dean. Ensure departmental compliance with timely and accurate reporting, including census/attendance reports, grade updates and submission, and LMS stats. Management Collaborate with faculty to lead program advisory and industry collaboration discussions, ensuring program relevance to employers or senior institutions. Oversee the program review process, analyzing data and utilizing input from program faculty, advisory committee members, and students Onboard, supervise, and support full and part-time faculty in implementation of effective instructional practices Evaluate all faculty within the program(s) in accordance with the College's faculty evaluation policies and procedures Recommend and request instructional equipment and materials as needed to support program growth and relevancy Serve on college committees as assigned Participate in professional development to enhance leadership, instructional quality, and maintain certifications appropriate to the field Perform other duties as assigned by the appropriate Dean, Vice President, and/or the President of Robeson Community College. Qualifications Education A Master's Degree in a program/required discipline taught within the department. Experience At least three years of full-time teaching experience in both seated and online formats in a higher education setting Knowledge, Skills and Abilities Physical Demands The percentage range listed below is used to qualify the physical demands of the job: 0% Never, 1-33% Occasional, 34-66% Frequent, 67-100% Continuous The job requires a full range of body motion that includes: Standing/Walking
