Job Description

ASSISTANT CAMPUS DIRECTOR

•ADMISSIONS & OPERATIONS Orion Institute Perrysburg, Ohio

•Greater Toledo Area Full-Time |

On-Site Salary:

$60,000

•65,000 per year

Reports To:

Director of Operations Orion Institute is seeking an experienced, hands-on Assistant Campus Director to provide day-to-day leadership for our Perrysburg campus. This individual will serve as the primary on-site campus leader while working toward being groomed to become the Campus Director. The position includes significant responsibility for campus operations, admissions, employee leadership, student support, retention, graduate outcomes, and regulatory compliance. This is a developmental leadership opportunity. The selected candidate will be trained and mentored for potential advancement into the Campus Director position based on performance, demonstrated leadership, and institutional needs. Previous experience working at an ACCSC-accredited college or school is strongly preferred. Key Responsibilities Provide visible, hands-on leadership for the daily operation of the campus. Supervise, coach, and support employees across admissions, academics, financial aid, student services, career services, and campus administration. Lead and conduct admissions activity and help the campus achieve enrollment and student-start goals. Establish clear expectations and maintain accountability across campus departments. Monitor student attendance, retention, academic progress, completion, and graduate-placement outcomes. Coordinate communication and workflow among campus departments and executive leadership. Address student and employee concerns promptly and professionally. Help ensure compliance with institutional policies, ACCSC standards, and applicable state and federal regulations. Maintain accurate documentation and assist with accreditation, reporting, and regulatory requirements. Identify operational challenges, develop solutions, and ensure appropriate follow-through. Build a positive campus culture centered on student success, professionalism, teamwork, and accountability. Participate in leadership development and gradually assume broader Campus Director-level responsibilities. Qualifications Leadership or management experience within a college, career school, vocational school, technical school, allied health school, or comparable postsecondary institution. Experience working at an ACCSC-accredited institution is strongly preferred. Experience in admissions leadership, enrollment management, or student recruitment is highly desirable. Previous experience as an Assistant Campus Director, Director of Admissions, Admissions Manager, Director of Operations, Education Director, Student Services Director, Career Services Director, or similar postsecondary education leader is preferred. Demonstrated experience supervising employees and managing performance. Knowledge of enrollment, retention, student services, academic operations, career services, accreditation, or regulatory compliance. Strong communication, organization, problem-solving, and follow-through skills. Ability to manage multiple departments and priorities in a fast-paced campus environment. Bachelor's degree preferred; directly relevant postsecondary leadership experience may be considered. Compensation and Schedule $55,000
