To provide advanced front-line customer service to prospective and current graduate students regarding all graduate enrollment services, including but not limited to admissions, registration, select financial aid assistance as well as scholarship information. Responsible for assisting students in successfully completing complex enrollment services transactions and providing specific counseling to students regarding the implications and potential consequences of these transactions.
Description of Duties:
Provides advanced, one-stop advice to students regarding admissions and enrollment processes to prospective and current students using best customer service practices. Maintains detailed knowledge and is a subject matter expert of regulations, policies, procedures, and deadlines regarding graduate admission to the university, admissions to specific programs, admissions based on program delivery mode, basic financial aid information, registration, enrollment, and tuition and fees to ensure students receive accurate information. Refers students to subject matter experts for financial aid assistance. Works closely with Graduate College recruitment and retention teams and personnel to ensure communication between the student and the Graduate College is seamless as students transition from recruitment to admissions, enrollment, and while the student is actively enrolled in a graduate degree program of study. Responds to prospective and current student inquiries by email, phone, and other channels using exceptional customer service, and troubleshoots problems to ensure resolution. Processes and evaluates student applications and documents that involve verifying large amount of data for accuracy and completeness and matches admission applications with other admission documents, such as transcripts and test scores. Initiates contact and follows up on pending information needed by prospective students regarding interest in new programs and connects students with other personnel in Graduate College or other offices across campus as needed. Serves as a contact person for assigned student cases. Performs other duties as assigned.

Required Education:
Bachelors degree from an accredited university.

Licenses/Certifications:
None.
Required Experience:
Two (2) years experience within Enrollment Services (Financial Aid, Registrar, Admissions, Recruitment, Graduate College, or other related field). The experience can be substituted by education on a 2-for-1 basis or a comparable combination of experience and education.

Use of standard office equipment.
Working Conditions:
Needs to be able to successfully perform all required duties. Office Environment; some travel and weekend work is required. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force frequently, and/or a negligible amount of force constantly to move objects.
Other:
Ability to effectively articulate policies and procedures regarding state, federal and institutional requirements to customers in a clear and concise manner. Excellent customer service skills. Ability to work independently and cooperatively in a diverse, fast-paced office environment.
