The ideal candidate is committed to academic excellence, fosters a love of reading and writing, and supports the intellectual, spiritual, and personal growth of every student. Requirements Bachelor's degree in English, Education, History or a related field Valid teaching credential or eligibility to obtain one, as required by state and diocesan regulations preferred Experience teaching at the middle school or junior high level preferred. Knowledge of ELA and History curriculum, instructional strategies, and student assessment practices. Excellent classroom management, organizational, and communication skills. Ability to foster a positive, engaging, and inclusive learning environment. Commitment to integrating Catholic values into daily instruction and supporting the mission of Catholic education. Willingness to collaborate with colleagues, parents, and school leadership. Proficiency in educational technology and learning management systems. Successful completion of all required background checks and diocesan safe environment training. Wage Range The rate of pay offered to the selected candidate is based on internal pay policy and budget. New hires are commonly paid at the minimum of the wage range or within the lower part of the range. We consider a number of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience, training and other department needs.
