Job Summary The Rite of Passage Short-Term Residential Therapy Program sites have enabled thousands of at-risk youth to move beyond their troubled home lives and negative former school experiences. Providing dramatic behavioral and lifestyle changes, the Rite of Passage treatment programs provide a unique, proactive setting for education. EDCOE provides educational services at the facilities. The position is located in San Andreas, CA. Under the supervision of the principal, provide instructional services to students related to applied curriculum. Emphasize a hands-on and skills approach that supports the vocational programs and ties directly into curriculum delivered in other subject areas so that there is consistent concept and skill reinforcement. Qualifications Education:
Valid California Teaching Credential.
Experience:
Experience in successful classroom teaching; demonstrated success in teaching at risk students, including appropriate curriculum design, lesson planning, and Clinical Teaching.
