We are looking for exceptional teachers who are interested in working with a collaborative group of professional educators to increase student achievement and nurture lifelong learners. Bachelor's Degree or higher from an accredited college or university is required. Santa Monica is looking for candidates with a Clear Elementary Teaching Credential /Multiple Subject Credential (if preliminary, describe specific plans for completion of Clear Credential requirements) As of August 1, 2025, a credentialed teacher assigned to TK must also satisfy at least ONE of these: 24 semester units in Early Childhood Education (ECE), Child Development (CD), or a combination of the two;

• Candidates will need to show evidence of English learner authorization (For example:

CLAD, BCLAD, ELA1

). The candidate chosen for this position will demonstrate the ability to plan and prepare instruction, maintain a nurturing classroom environment, implement a strong standards based instructional program, and show an ability to be a professional, objective, empathetic and collaborative member of our school community.
