Riverton Classical Academy (RCA) is a tuition-free, public charter school, and a Hillsdale K-12 Supported Founding Effort scheduled to open in August 2027 in the Minidoka/Cassia county area of southern Idaho. • RCA is seeking applicants who have the ability to teach and inspire learning in at least two of the following fields: Mathematics, Science, English Grammar, Writing Composition, Literature, History, and Moral & Political Philosophy. 3. Music Teacher
• RCA is seeking a mission-aligned musician who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education. We are seeking a teacher who will elevate music instruction beyond the status quo of typical music education to its proper place as an indispensable part of a liberal arts education
• guiding students to see that music is central to how humans experience the world and integral to perceiving the wonders of order and beauty. Our music curriculum is focused on building an appreciation for great music, cultivating musical skills, learning music history, and understanding music theory

As an integral part of the classical curriculum, Latin adds a unique richness to our students' academic, historical, and linguistic experience. The educator hired for this position must be a defender of the practical, academic, and cultural benefits of learning this flagship language of Western civilization. 5. Physical Education Teacher

We are seeking a teacher who will elevate physical education beyond the status quo of typical PE, to its proper place as an essential component of developing mind, heart, and body
• guiding students to experience the satisfaction of training their bodies beyond what they believe is possible; act virtuously, justly, and courageously in the heat of competition, whether in victory or defeat; appreciate the beauty of the human body when one trains its parts to work in harmony with each other in physical activity. 6. Art Teacher
• RCA is seeking a mission-aligned artist/educator who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education.

We are seeking an individual who will elevate art instruction beyond the practical acquisition of various artistic skills to include familiarizing students with the great works of art throughout human civilization. We want our students to see things that are beautiful, to understand them (at least in part), and be moved by them. Our thorough curricular resources will aid in this endeavour. 7. Spanish Teacher

• RCA is seeking a mission-aligned individual who is inspired by the vision and purposes of American classical education to teach Spanish to our Kindergarten
• 5th grade students.

Spanish classes will be held in approximately 30 minute time spans twice per week with each class. The RCA Spanish teacher will be expected to make the study of Spanish as immersive as possible, and to make grammar and culture an integral part of instruction. The goal of Spanish language instruction at RCA is to inspire students with a sense of wonder and beauty about another language, and other cultures and ways of life, and thereby help them to know their own culture and language a little better.
