Lower Grades Class Teacher 2026-27 School Year The Steiner School of Ann Arbor The Steiner School of Ann Arbor is seeking a Lower Grades Class Teacher for the 2026-27 school year. We are looking for an educator who values authentic relationships, collaboration, innovation, and a deep commitment to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion work. Our Pedagogical Vision As a community, we continually hold the question of how best to meet the children of today through a pedagogy that upholds the dignity of each human being—and what we must reimagine in order to do so. Supporting our teachers is central to this work. We are actively re-envisioning how to support class teachers through schedules, collaboration time, mentoring, and other structural supports, recognizing both the demands of the role and the vital importance of collegial relationships. About Our School The Steiner School of Ann Arbor serves students from early childhood through twelfth grade and is made up of a dedicated faculty and staff committed to strong pedagogy and community life.

Our program includes:

We are close to the Anthroposophical Society, a biodynamic farm, and an Anthroposophical health center.
