MS/HS Bible Teacher Washtenaw Christian Academy is seeking a Middle School/High School Bible Teacher who is passionate about God's Word and committed to discipling students through gospel-centered teaching, with a desire to cultivate biblical literacy, spiritual growth, and a Christian worldview in the next generation.

Washtenaw Christian Academy Schedule:
Full-time (aligned with school calendar) Reports to: Secondary Principal Instructional & Discipleship Duties Teach Bible courses for grades 7-12 as assigned Cultivate a classroom environment rooted in Scripture, grace, and truth Guide students in developing biblical literacy, theological understanding, and practical application of faith Lead students in discussions that encourage critical thinking through a biblical worldview Design units and lesson plans that engage students and support WCA's mission Incorporate a variety of instructional strategies that foster active participation Maintain accurate records of student performance and communicate progress regularly with families Participate in chapel, spiritual life initiatives, and mentoring opportunities as needed Carry out additional school duties as assigned Qualifications Deep understanding of Scripture and strong theological discernment Ability to teach the Bible clearly and faithfully to middle and high school students Strong communication skills (oral and written) and excellent organizational abilities Ability to build encouraging, Christlike relationships with students Proficiency with instructional technology and classroom learning tools Commitment to ongoing personal spiritual growth and prayer Agreement with WCA's Statement of Faith Education & Experience Requirements Bachelor's degree in Biblical Studies, Theology, Christian Education, Ministry, or a related field (required) Teaching or ministry experience with teens in a school, church, or youth ministry setting (preferred)
