Teach organized history and sociology courses in accordance with the official schedule of classes as assigned by the Department Chairperson; assessment of student learning at the program level; participation in department meetings and activities as requested. Academic Rank:

Instructor Education

• Master's Degree in History or related field; 15 graduate credits in Sociology preferred Experience
• Three (3) years College teaching experience is preferred, preferably at a community college; Three (3) years experience in History or Sociology field. Skills
• Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with diverse audiences; Demonstrated capability of using innovative teaching strategies including in-person, virtual, and asynchronous.

Demonstrated ability to work collegially and collaboratively with diverse internal and external constituencies.
