Enrichment Coordinator

Job Description

Enrichment Coordinator Job Summary:
Assist students by planning, coordinating, and delivering enrichment activities in accordance with Quilcene School District Policy.
Essential Job Functions:
Plan, coordinate, and deliver instruction substantially similar to martial arts, gymnastics, dance, yoga and/or music. Perform tutoring, both individually and with small groups to ensure mastering of subjects. Work collaboratively with subject teachers to ensure all students in grades K-8 are offered enrichment activities.

Qualifications:
Required Education and Experience Must have acquired one or more of the following: Required high school diploma or equivalent; Associate's Degree or higher; 72 quarter credits or 48 semester credits from an accredited college or university; Have passed the Washington State Para Educator Assessment Test (ETS) with a minimum score of 455; or Completed a registered Washington State paraeducator training program: Pearson Assessment with a minimum score of 220; or The Master Teacher Para Online Training with a passing score of 65% Current First Aid Certification preferred Required Skills, Knowledge and/or Abilities Demonstrate skills in working with children with academic and/or behavioral challenges Ability to diffuse and manage volatile and stressful situations Ability to communicate, interact and work effectively and cooperatively with people Enjoy working with children in grades K-8 in a learning environment
Other Requirements:
Employee must pass fingerprint screening conducted by the Washington State Patrol and the FBI. Working Environment The usual and customary methods of performing the job's functions require the following conditions:
